Our staff team is made up of tutors ready to pass on their expertise and love of music to all students. With a diverse range of specialisms and passions between them, all of our staff members are selected for their professionalism, experience and passion for education.
Music Director
Martin Cropper
Martin is passionate about chamber music and has been fortunate to study and perform with some of the world’s most inspiring chamber musicians.

He shares his energy and enthusiasm for music between Sheffield Music Academy and Oakham School, where he is now in his eleventh year as Head of Strings. Martin also has over 20 years of experience working with the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra and regularly gives workshops for Music in the Round.
