Originally from Southwell, Nottinghamshire, Will studied music at the University of Sheffield, graduating with a master’s degree in music management in January of 2026. Starting his musical career as a chorister at Southwell Minster, Will continued singing, joining the University of Sheffield Chamber Choir while also undertaking a choral scholarship at Sheffield Cathedral. Throughout his time at university, Will discovered a passion for big band music and jazz, joining Sheffield University Big Band as vocalist, before later becoming Music Director for 2024/25. While at university Will also developed his administrative and organizational skills, taking on various committee roles including tour officer, publicity officer, and social secretary. As his first permanent role following his graduation, Will is excited to bring his experience and passion to Sheffield Music Academy.​
