SMA Infants: Musicianship Teacher
The SMA Infants Scheme offers an innovative scheme of learning to children aged 4–8. By combining high-quality instrumental tuition from an early age with interactive, fun-filled musicianship classes, the SMA Infants Scheme aims to inspire and motivate young children to fulfil their musical potential. Through a Kodaly-informed curriculum, children are encouraged to develop strong musical foundations through movement, creativity and exploration. Sheffield Music Academy is an established, successful music education charity that, since 2005, has nurtured hundreds of brilliant young musicians aged 4–19, from all backgrounds. As one of only 14 Music Centres for Advanced Training in the UK, we support some of the most exciting music educators from across the country to work with and inspire young people from the Sheffield region and beyond.

Recent developments in Harmony Works make Sheffield's musical ecosystem an exciting community of optimism and ambition. As the city's music environment adapts, we are excited to develop our organisation to further engage, support and nurture diverse and passionate young people. We are currently developing our 5 year strategy which will form the basis of our plans for adapting to work in, and ultimately moving to, Harmony Works.
