First Concert Success!

Sheffield Music Academy hosted their first concert of the 2018/19 season on Saturday 17th November in the City Centre venue - Victoria Hall. After a long day at the Academy, the students put on a fantastic concert, which included 2 soloists, the chamber orchestra and the wind sextet. The level of musicianship was very high, and the audience very much enjoyed the programme, which included works from the likes of Mozart, Hoffmeister and Brahms.

We are very grateful to the Friends of SMA for helping out with refreshments, as well as all the audience members who donated towards the concert. All money goes back into our students' education with us - so every penny counts!

We are now looking ahead to our Christmas Concert, which will be held at St Andrews, Psalter Lane on the 8th December 2018. Tickets are free but must be reserved via our 'What's On' page link.
