Jess grew up in London with actor/musician parents and spent most of her childhood in and around music and the theatre. She has previously worked as a Theatrical Agent, managing actors on TV and film, before moving to Sheffield in 2006 and spending seven years at Sheffield Theatres as Corporate Fundraiser.

Jess is a passionate supporter of the arts and its accessibility in the region. She reached Grade 7 piano as a teenager and has a young daughter.
